Did your phone start acting like this from the last update or before that?

Immediately after the update.

Not that I know of yet. Apps constantly freeze and restart, freeze and
restart, making one's S7 essentially worthless with Nougat. Nice testing,
Verizon!

DOGBODYSPEAKS, we're sorry to see that you've been having so many issues after the Nougat update. It looks like you've been trying out a lot. Please try backing up your phone > http://spr.ly/65828Ao1u; then doing a factory reset > http://spr.ly/65848Ao1r
Does this help?

VZW's answer to everything is do a factory reset. These OS updates shouldn't cause such issues as to the need for an FDR. Also, MarcusS_VZWSupport, your backup link is bad.

I agree. At this point I will probably try it.

Even though the Nougat problems posts have slowed down considerably, because issues like yours are still coming up, I'm not ready to do it just yet.

It will take me awhile to move and backup apps and content so I'm not doing
it any time soon either.

If you have an SD card, make sure you remove it before doing the install. I have every app that will go on the card on it, along with all my pics and videos. I also have everything, but the apps, backed up to the Verizon cloud. Even it you back up the apps, if you end up having to do a factory reset they will all have to be reinstalled. You can just move them to the phone from the backup up source.

I meant you can't just move the apps to the phone.,
