Have you tried removing the battery, waiting a few minutes, then reinserting the battery and seeing if the phone will turn on?

Let's get you enjoying your new phone again, crazydaisy. Have you tried leaving it plugged into that original home charger overnight? Do you see any lights or any sign of the charge when you plug it in? Our friend tikibar1 had a good suggestion to try removing and reinserting the battery. You can also try pressing and holding the power button and volume down for about 30 seconds to trigger the phone to restart.
