I have been having this problem for the longest time. I had no problem connecting on my Sony Vizio, but have NEVER been able to connect on my Dell Lattitude. I have tried everything stated here and then some. Let me mention that I moved and the original cords are in a box somewhere, BUT, I have been to VZ twice and bought new cables (one exchange). When I use these cables, I keep getting the message "To charge faster, use the cables that came with your phone." At the VZ store, two different associates (when I originally bought the replacement cables and when I exchanged them) said the same thing, "These are the only ones we sell for your phone." I have installed Samsung drivers, updated windows drivers, gone into Device Manager and tried updating the drivers for the portable device. Sometimes I get a message that the latest driver is installed, sometimes I get that Windows is unable to download the latest drivers because Windows cannot load...(Code 31). I have tried more cables than I thought possible. No, there is nothing wrong with the USB ports, EVERYTHING else I plug into any of them works fine. Does ANYBODY know [Removed] is going on?

GeauxVirg, we always want to make sure that you are able to properly utilize your device even when it is connected to your computer. When did you first initially begin experiencing these issues?
