Now that we have Marshmallow, is there a way to use Wi-fi calling even when you have mobile connection? I have set up the device to use it but would like to improve call quality via Wifi.

No, the system will not allow a Wi-Fi call if the cell signal is good.
BUT you could try this workaround . . . . .Enable airplane mode on the phone, then turn on Wi-Fi. See if this will let you make the Wi-Fi call & let us know if this works.

I have the setup right, my question can you shut off or override mobile calling to just use wifi, even where the cell signal is good?

Thanks DigitalRules. That's exactly what you have to do to do a wifi call. And when you make one, you get an icon of a handset with the wifi symbol above it.
