I have my S9 set to notify me with noise & vibration when messages are received. I would like it to maybe remind me once more if I haven't gotten to it.
This morning, at 3 a.m., a message was received. My phone then set off a reminder EVERY 5 Minutes. (like it was told to). Spouse was NOT amused.
I still want to receive the initial notification, but I cannot figure out how to switch the reminder over to Vibrate only.
I don't really want to put my phone onto Do Not Disturb overnight, but this is a really annoying 'feature'

We certainly want you being able to set your notifications to silent when needed. From your phone, go into Settings>Accessibility>Notification Reminder>Vibrate. Please let me know how that works.
