since the update to lolliflop i have been having issues with my phone updating my location and clock. no matter which app i use my phone wont update the time and location along with the weather. in order for it to update i need to restart my phone. this shouldnt have to happen...i shouldnt be restarting my phone multiple times a day..and the battery still dies after only a few hours. anyone else having this issue? Verizon Wireless Customer Support

I am also having problems with my phone getting hot and either going into cooling down mode..even when ive done nothing on my phone for hours or it just shuts down.

That's a big help! Everything should certainly be working great for you. If you check in the Play Store under "My Apps" are all of your apps up to date? Can we try the phone for a few hours in safe mode http://vz.to/1Ea5XxF and see if it runs any better?

all of my apps are up to date. ive tried running my phone in safe mode many times before and I have still had the same issues.

We appreciate all the troubleshooting you've tried thus far, buzzeswoman2008. Our next recommended step is a wipe cache partition. This can help clear the described issues you are experiencing.

http://vz.to/1uorSMg When you reach Step 4, please choose Wipe Cache Partition, and not Wipe Data/Factory Reset. Once this is done, please select Reboot to restart your phone.

Let us know if this helps maintain the time, as well as keep your phone running at a normal temperature.
