Oh, gosh, I am sorry to hear of this issue, no one likes to receive unwanted spam text messages. I know that I don't. Let's make sure you don't have to deal with this nusance. Have you heard about our Call Filter? http://spr.ly/6601JDX5W This is one thing to consider. Also, you can find out about blocking numbers here: http://spr.ly/6602JDX5o. Does this help? -Rosie

OK, I am going to piggyback on this thread because I just received a "dirty" text message tonight. To be clear, the text message originated from an email address. I started with a 2017 thread and it didn't offer a solution.
I have a Galaxy S9. There is NO option within the messages app to BLOCK incoming text messages that originate from an email domain. This is not a new problem since it was brought up here over 4 years ago.

Hello, MKE2Sailors, that certainly sounds like a text we wouldn't want to get either and want to help any way we can. Have you checked in My Verizon for the option to block texts from email domains? This may be checked by following the steps here: https://www.verizon.com/support/block-unblock-services-faqs/#how-to-block .*Stanley
