anyone have a suggestion on correcting errant gps traking...my S5 is all over the place sometimes like a snake trail other times like a buzzing bee
when you're stationary are you using wi-fi??
djsbull, I know the importance of getting the best results when using your GPS while on the go. We definitely want to get to the bottom of the results. Let's gather more information to determine the cause. Has your GPS ever worked normally? When you go to Settings>Location>Mode>what do you have there? Under Improve accuracy, what do you have there?

Allow me to explain how WiFi works, bearone21. WiFi is used only when your device is connected to at WiFi network. Usually you will be stationary when connected to a WiFi connection as the WiFi network is part of stationary network. However, if you are connected to a Mobile WiFi network (such as a Jetpack or other), then your WiFi connection can be mobile.
