hundreds of foreign emails are dumping into my inbox that say I have registered for stuff. How do I stop this???? Help

I just upgraded to the S9 from the s7edge and hundreds of emails of foreign nature are dumping into my roadrunner email account.  this just happened when I did smartswitch between my new phone and old phone.  How do I stop this??  Help

Is it showing your name as the address of the emails or are there other people names in it?
