system won't update

I keep being prompted to update the system on my S7, but for several tries, it keeps cycling and won't complete after several hours. How can I get the update to complete?

Getting your phone to update to a new software is certainly important. Are you connected to WIFI or our network when trying the update? Have you tried powering off the phone for a few seconds?

if you're trying to download thru the network, it's bigger than you can imagine & will take a long time.
