When I remove a member from a distribution list, they are notified.

Why and can this be prevented?

Good afternoon to you!Being able to make changes to your distribution list when you're sending group text messages is very important. We've noted your statement regarding when you remove a member from a distribution list that they're notified. We've also noted your inquiries asking why and can this be prevented? May we ask what messaging app are you're using? (e.g. Verizon Messages (Message +), Enterprise Messaging (EMAG), Apple's iMessaging feature (texting with other Apple device users), the messaging app that was included with your device, etc.) Can you provide our team with an example of what the removed member's notification displays? - RobertC_VZW

I spent over a half hour on the phone with a Verizon rep.

and was assured I would be contacted.

Why a response got sent to my daughter is beyond me!

I made it very clear that I was using Verizon Message +.

I have a Samsung 8+.

At the moment I have a sullen resignation that this issue will go nowhere!

It's a challenge to find out why your group messaging is not working right, Stanpass. Let's look into your concern and get the messages to roll out. What messaging app is your daughter using? Is she getting any error messages? When you send her a message, did it go through? Please share more details so we can assist you both.
