18 months. sammobile.com has confirmed that it is receiving Android 5.0.

It is available accourding to Samsung. Verizon has not pushed it out, has not completed their modifications and or is skipping for L5.0

Core2, 5.0 totally screwed up my Nexus 7. Google sent out a fix that didn't work.

Yes 5.0 has been a failure across multiple devices, most significantly the Nexus line. Solution is that the minor update 5.0.2 is being adopted throughout the Android ecosystem, albeit slowly. Frustrating as it is, Samsung is going to update Note 4 and the S5 first. However, the S4 and Note 3 are not that far behind. I feel it might be February when we hear potential dates for the S4 being updated. The UK is now receiving updates for their S5's, as we speak for Android 5.0. Shortly after that you bet that the US will be soon to follow.
