I know how to perform a 3 way call, but what if the 2nd person I called doesn't answer and I get voice mail? I don't want to merge that call.
How do I hang up on the 2nd call placed without hanging up on the original?
Thanks.

If the second person does not answer, press the Sendkey twice to end the connection and go back to the first person.

Yes there is no send key after you are in the 3 way calling mode. this is very frustrating because you have to drops all calls to end just the second caller. I can't believe that Verizon doesn't have a solution to this.... ANY Help here!!!!

For example you complete a call to caller A, then you conference in caller B. When you are finished talking to caller B, have them hang up the phone. You should still be connected with caller A. Whether this works or not is for you to find out.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

The issue is not when you get connected to caller B, the issue is NOT getting connected to caller B and wanting to hang up so it does not go to voicemail.

Hello,
Thank you Community Members for posting some troubleshooting tips. It is very much appreciated.
Try this instead:
Place the first call, when they answer select
Menu
Add Call
Contacts
Merge Call
To disconnect the call, simply press End Call icon twice.
Thank you.
