3G Data - throughput issues last 2 weeks - Cary NC area

I generally listen to streaming radio.

 

Past couple weeks, I've been having continuous interruptions in service whereas prior I had not.

 

Only recent change was that I'm now running the 2.2 upgrade on the firmware.

 

Anyone else seen this or know of any 3G equipment issues in the area?

 

I have a Samsung Fascinate.

Chas311, this is not a known issue in your area. Try the following steps which may resolve this issue:

 

- Dial *228 + Send and choose option 2.

- Once successful, power off the device and remove the battery.

- Place the battery back in and power on the phone. 

- From the home screen, select Applications.

- Select Browser.

- Press the Menu button.

- Select More.

- Select Settings.

- Clear Cache, History and Cookies.

I did this - seems to have improved things some but still getting timeouts.

 

I've also noticed this happens on Wi-Fi as well.

 

Seems it started after I got the 2.2 Froyo update if that is any help.

If this is happening on Wifi as well, it doesn't seem to be an issue in the area. Have you noticed this with more than one application? Which application(s) are you using? I would suggest uninstall/reinstall if you haven't already.
