A lot problems with calls, connection, text message, data access

I have service with Verizon over 2 years, but couple months ago I got different  problems: with calls, connection, text message, data access. Actually today I got a new one more problem.  I already contacted to Verizon for technical support and once was on phone with them around 2 hours (at June 7th, 2023). Some problems were fixed, but more problems started. I called them again June 29, 2023 - same "story": turn off / turn on /  restart.  But what was annoying, when you told technician that it is already called them 3rd time with same or even more problems, and after "turn off /turn on / restart" technician will ask you complete "survey about how did he do".  I told him how can I do it, if I call for help 3rd time, but it only worse then before.  Well, today, July 3rd, I got NEW problem and call them again. And again: "turn off / turn on".  Also today I decided to look for information in this community and only when I wrote just couple my problems, I found the post from 2014!!!!! (Member: rji17ca).  OMG! That member had 90% of my problems! But it was in 2014! I also have like he/she had:

*For the past couple of months I have had problems losing my network connection affecting phone calls, text messages and data access. The problems seem to be occurring more frequently, and have not been able to identify a consistent pattern yet.

**Phone: Already many times I have had calls dropped.  I see that I have no [phone] network connection.  In each case I've been in a location where I frequently make calls.   In each case I do get a signal back, but it takes several minutes until I re-acquire a signal. Also if call was dropped, I am not able to call back, I even can't leave the "call screen". It looks like I still on the call. Because of this, I should restart phone, but sometimes I still can't do a call and I restart second time.  Also I still have the same problem (it started already 2 months ago, now less times, but it still happened): when people call me, I am not receiving a call (don't see and don't hear, no ring), but if calling person will leave voice message for me during that call, I will get this message. Several time I was told, that people can't call me, even they know I am waiting their calls, I was told that after 1st ring they sent direct to voice mail.

***Text: Before I was getting some texts only at next (!) days, not in the time text was sent.  Now sometimes my texts not sending.  If I am chatting with somebody, some text sending, but couple not.

****Date: I got new problem today, July 3rd, 2023. I was in the Spa, was using my phone, but it stopped working: no any connection to internet. Also usually I have 4 bars next to "4G" (My service 5G, but my phone is 4G), but today it was gone! Just "4G" and nothing. There were around 13 customers in the spa and all of them where using their phones, but not me. I started asked ladies around if some of them have Verizon service, but nobody had. Only me.  I didn't have data outside of spa, not in the car. When I lost internet connection, I was trying use app "speedtest", but it wasn't connected to any server.  I also didn't get connection after I left spa, not in the car and only when I drove in my garage, I was connected to my home internet and then 4 bars of Verizon were back. I was still on the phone with Verizon technical  support during driving home and when I was home and told technician that "I just came back in my house and I got back connection", she told me: "Oh! I am glad WE resolved the problem."  Seriously?

This forum is last hope. I am not going to call Verizon "for support" again. I pay money for service and not going to spend my time hours and hours on the phone with them. Just will go back to previous  provider, I was with them over 15 years and never had problems.

P.S. I am still in shock, that I have the same problems in 2023, like people had in 2014!! 🤦‍♀️

My phone: Samsung Note 10+

Last time when I had conversation with technician, I was told: Call us right after next time your phone will lost signal during call. It just happened during my call with my doctor. After we finally finished talk with doctor after he recall me back after signal was lost, I called to Verizon to let them know it happens again and just now.

Well... I have two phones /two lines. My husband use second line. He never ever had problem I am having now again and again. I was told before that if my one line works good and second not, it probably problem with my phone.  And it means my phone should be replaced, and I pay for protection plan! No. Today technician told me: you should go to Verizon store, to check your phone. I said you are checking, restarting, upgrading my phone already around 3 months and no any result.  Also I found I am loosing my signal ONLY if been on the call, I am starting to "move". For example, I was sitting on chair and talking on the phone, but then I stand up - signal lost.  If I staying during call and then after I will do just a step - signal lost.

Verizon didn't help: if my phone is bad, they should replace it, because I pay for protection plan; if their service bad - they should  repair it. But looks like they are not going to provide me another phone; they  are not going to provide the service I pay for too.

Well, I am done with Verizon.  Time to looking for another provider.

I have had similar problems since getting Verizon a couple of years ago.  I never know why my phone will suddenly stop receiving calls and go straight to voice mail.  I'll still get internet, can send emails, etc, no problem with data.  But my elderly parents cannot reach me even though my phone is right there, on, with ringer on, etc.  They call, and it goes straight to phone mail.  No explanation.  If I restart the phone, it will work again, but I never have any warning of when my phone will stop working, and my parents get so upset.    I have a month-to-month plan - I don't know if regular contract plans get better service.   I'm extremely frustrated.

The same thing happened to me. Plus the little yellow/orange dot above the bars show it has congestion. I was told by the rep I had the lowest plan and that a premium plan may help that. Ok give me that. It's $10.00 extra a month. I work from my phone so I need decent service.  So I he hooked me up with the plan and told me to reboot the phone so the plan can start. So I reboot and it goes to 4 bars for a few mins  and then drops back down to one!  What is congestion and how do we fix it?
