Ads on my lock screen after last update! How can i get rid of these!

Since the most recent update there are  now Ads on my lock screen.  I hate this.

Also seems less secure now since notifications show up.  I have it set to hide content but dont like that it pops up on the screen the way it does.  Help!

This could be a number of things. Software updates generally don't just put ads on your device. You must have some sort of 3rd party application that pushes those advert notifications through. For example, I know of some free lock screen apps that do as such. More info would be much appreciated to get to the bottom of this. For example, what types of ads are showing up?
