I installed All Apps Organizer [ http://www.appbrain.com/app/all-apps-organizer-free/xxbcn.AllAppsOrganizer ] and moved some of my apps into the appropriate Categories.
But the icons (shortcuts) still fill up the four application "pages."
So what's the point of using All Apps Organizer?
The goal of this exercise is to free up "desktop space" just like on my PC.
How do I do that?

Thanks,
My apps cover 11 pages. I only do 3 rows per page. I move the ones I don't use/rarely use to the last pages. On the main screens I have 3 folders that I put certain apps into. Games, social and misc.
OK, so I assume the following:
1. The phone will keep adding pages/screens as I add more applications.
2. There is no way to "move" them to some organizing folder in order to make the screens less cluttered.
Thanks.

I'm not saying there is no way but I haven't found a need to go searching for one. Yes. I have only 3 apps on page 11 and it's already put up page 12 for me to use. On page 1 have apps like setting, browser, camera, calculator, my files, memo, market and my e readers. Page 2 I have my games, the ones I chose that were free. Page 3 is other apps I installed. All that craps they put on is several pages back where I rarely go. How you set it up is up to you but I found this works just fine for me.
I'm using apps organizer. So far I have two folder icons on my main page with up to 12 apps in each. I rarely need to flip screens. There's another app called folder organizer by the same company... haven't figured out the difference yet.
Perhaps I'm misunderstanding ... but if your goal is to free up desktop space then just delete the icons (hold & drag to the trash bin) and unused pages (settings icon top left corner will open arranging window for adding deleting screens/pages).
I'm a clean freak so have very few desktop icons on just 2 screens - just the few I use frequently and the rest I open from the "Applications" widget.
As for folders... there's a stock folder widget available.
