I have a Samsung Galaxy s23 and use Google Messages for texts. Starting yesterday, I have not been able to receive any group text from groups that include iPhone users. I can receive texts from iPhones in individual text threads and I can receive individual AND group texts from only Android users. None of these are RCS messages, all SMS or MMS. No updates to my phone or changes to settings on my end have occurred. I have restarted my phone, cleared the messages cache, and force stopped/restarted the messages app - none of these have fixed my issue. I need this fixed ASAP because I need to communicate with my coworkers throughout the day and currently cannot!

We know how important it is to stay connected, let's work on getting this fixed. Is this happening with specific number of iPhone users or all users?

In looking here and online, this seems to be an ongoing problem specific to Verizon Android users that has been going on for years. It seems to have gotten worse when RCS chats with Google Messaging became the the method. No one at Verizon seems to know how to resolve the issue. I've tried everything. Sometimes group texts seem to be working properly, sometimes I don't receive messages, just a notice from the individual's text that something didn't come in. If you're in a group where others don't have Verizon/Android, they are moving on with life and you'll be left out of the conversation. I missed a very important medical issue of a friend within my group because my cell provider (Verizon) couldn't or wouldn't provide the basic messaging service I pay for every month. I went to a corporate Verizon store to get help and they all said it's a big problem and they don't know when it will be solved. Not acceptable.

We hate to hear that you are having problems with your RCS chats. If you can please share when you started having this experience as well if there have been any errors.-Dee
