Apparently Locked Samsung S10

Hello,

I purchased a Samsung S10 from a private individual in May of 2022.  The device was an unlocked device. I activated the phone with Red Pocket Mobile (an MVNO) using what they refer to as their CDMA SIM card. This essentially put my phone on the Verizon network, but as a prepaid customer through Red Pocket. This past Monday, March 27, 2023 I ported my phone number over to Visible Mobile (also owned and operated by Verizon). When I put the Visible SIM into my phone, I immediately got the message "Sorry, your device can't be activated on another carrier's network right now. For help, contact Verizon" After working with multiple agents and trying everything under the sun, they could not get my phone to activate on the Visible (Verizon) network.

This makes no sense to me as I was able to activate the phone on Red Pocket's rented-from-Verizon network. I have contacted several Red Pocket reps and they all tell me they do not lock phones that a customer brings to the network. The only phones they lock are phones that are purchased from Red Pocket (and even those are unlocked after X number days).

So, does someone have a suggestion on how to resolve this issue?

Oh, and btw, when I boot up or restart my phone, it always flashes the "Hello" and a screen with the Verizon logo, so this tells me the individual that I purchased the phone from, they had purchased it at some point from Verizon. So there's that.
