Asurion Insurance

Hey. i just spent $150.00 on a deductible for Asurion replacement of a Samsung S7 Edge. This thing is worse then my 3 year old Phone. with a cracked screen.

The Battery Drains Over 10 Percencent  in 20 Minutes. ive adjusted the setting to mid power saving.

Navigation with the touch screen is sloppy at Best.  This is a used or regurbished phone.

the case MAY BE new but this Frankenstein phone is TRASH.

Ive been with Verizon Since 2013. Ive Paid insurance and this Phone 3 years Next Month. Ive never Maid any claim Before.

Your Store Technician Directed Me to Asurion. When I have Purchased phones in store I was assured I could have cellphones repaired at multiple locations. Now ni store will service repairs

How will i get a refund from Asurion?

And Get A WORKING CELLPHONE FROM VERIZON.

ADDITIONALLY. A TECH WAS SUPPOSED TO SET THIS UP.

Instead rhe phone arrives via ups. In a poorly packed box. easily damaging the intem. no bubble rap. in a second hand fashion  without a verizoj or Samsung packaging. Implying this is a refurbished product.

The instructions ate inadequate. Resulting in having to make phone calls to Verizon via a land line as the phone did not work.  20 minute hold time. Audio prompts constantly telling me to use an app  or go online.

I NEED A WORKING PHONE. AND A RESOLUTION

It is important that you have a device that performs the way you need it to, roryhensey. Were you able to complete set-up and activation of the device?

I have done everything asurion instructions have said. Called Verizon to complete set up. I have called asurion to get a replacement. I have gone to Verizon Flagship store on Market street in San Francisco to have my old phone reactivated. Now my old phone does not text.

The only option Verizon has given me is to bring the 2nd replacement into the store. If that does not work Request a newer model. And continue this process. Of requesting replacement phones that are REFURBISHED. I have paid Verizon the insurance for 3 years. A total over $500 USD. I have been a customer some 2013 with a prepaid an the same number.

I am not trying to scam anyone.

The other suggest ion I get from VERIZON staff is to UPGRADE. With out any concession From Verizon. A save $300 offer on a new phone has been on my app and notifications for almost a year. A forced upgrade without any concessions for outsorceing insurance to a vender that is incapable of providing quilty a satisfactory product. I am not asking for newer product or an upgrade. I asking for a replacement for my 3 year old phone with minor cracks in screen and a 3 year battery.

Instead I now have 2 broken cellphones. Your Verizon tech installed the SIM card. I did not.Verizon has rendered my old phone unusable for text messaging.

You are paying Asurion for insurance.
Asurion is not Verizon.  Asurion sent you the lousy phone, and they are the ones who have to replace it.
Personally, I find Mobile insurance is a bad financial option.  I have 'self insured' by putting money aside.   The $500 you paid Asurion would be better spent on a new phone.
