When I travel from an area that has 4G into an area that has 5G or vice versa the audio on my phone will sound like Donald Duck and on calls, I am unable to hear the person on the other end.
There is a work around for this issue, removing the sim card and replacing it. However, before I figured this out I got stranded at SFO at midnight unable to use my phone.
Your 5 G network is wreaking havoc. I know I'm not the only one having this problem.

Hello, dbekman, we know it's important to have clear audio on your phone calls. Are you still experiencing this issue after removing and reinserting your SIM card? If so, what are you seeing for your service indicator when traveling between areas? You mentioned you are having an issue with hearing the person you are talking to. Is the audio completely silent?

I don't see any error message on the phone when this happens. The only indication that the audio isn't working is when the phone rings or when I try to call someone.
Removing and replacing the sim card fixes the problem...It resets the network. I shouldn't have to do this when transitioning from a 4G to 5G area and vice versa!!!! Not only is it inconvenient but it's a safety issue, this isn't exactly quick. I have to locate the pin, remove the case, remove and replace the sim card, check the audio, then replace the case. If there was an emergency like being stranded at the airport at midnight, I'd be in real trouble. You need to fix this network problem!

Thanks for getting back to us. When changing locations, is the signal indicator on your phone changing? You mentioned that there is an indication of the audio changing when the phone rings or when you try to call someone. Are you hearing something different with the external ringer? When you're on a call, are you hearing silence from the person you're speaking with?

Yes, the signal indicator changes. Yes, the ring doesn't is staticky, no I can't hear people on the other end or they sound like Donald Duck. They also can't hear me most of the time. Why do you keep asking me the same questions?
