I want to backup my text messages to my PC in a text readable format. I haven't found anyway to do this. Is it at all possible?
Messages sent from or received on your device cannot be viewed in any other medium. You can, however, forward text messages to an email address, and then view/print them just like any other email.
Here is a link for further text messaging http://support.vzw.com/clc/faqs/TXT%20messaging/faq.html
You can try this app. I'm not sure if it will allow you to be able to read them on a computer or not, but it's worth a shot, and free. I would think, since it saves them to the SD card, that there would be some way of accessing them once they are backed up.
