Very slow internet during day, speeds up later at night. Why am I expected to pay full price when I can't get full internet speeds at all times

My phone internet hardly works during the day. It like dial up speeds. The service started getting bad right after the iphone 4 came out. I swear back when I had the iphone 3 the service was good. Fast internet. They have been playing games with the service for years.
