After getting the Froyo 2.2.1 update, my phone's battery charge has been reduce tremendously. (My spouse's phone is doing the same thing.) I use Task Manager to stop applications after using them. At the suggestion of a Verizon sales clerk at our local store, I downloaded Advanced Task Killer to see if that would help. Simply waking the phone up shows that several applications are running on Adv. Task Killer even after "killing" them a few minutes before the phone when to "sleep". They also suggested doing a hard reset which we haven't tried and we question how this will fix the problem. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions for fixing this problem? Can the update be uninstalled?
Any help will be GREATLY appreciated! My mobile phone can't be too mobile if it has to be plugged in all the time!
