Bluetooth Pairing Issue with 2012 VW

Fascinate does not automatically connect to the VW's handsfree setup when I get in the car. The only way I can get it to connect is to go to Settings, Bluetooth setting, unpair and then repair with the hands free on the car. It should be automatic. Any ideas.
