Call/Text Blocking Notifications

• If I have blocked a number and they attempt to call will they receive a notification making them aware that they have been blocked? If they to text will they receive a message notifying them they have been blocked? (It is my hope that they are notified in some way that they are blocked)

Hi Acltxmt.  Great question. What does a blocked contact experience? Customers who call your number will hear: Welcome to Verizon Wireless. We're sorry the number you have dialed has calling restrictions that have prevented the completion of your call. Customers who text your number will receive the reply: Message Failed. Let us know if you should need further assistance with blocking contacts.
