Hello Support,
I currently have a $1,000+ Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus that was purchased from Verizon Wireless. In addition, I also purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 WIFI only version from another vendor.
There is a feature (at least that is what Samsung says) that is supposed to allow me to send/receive calls and text from the Tab S6 via my $1,000+ Note 10+; howeveer, when I tried to find the following settings: Call & text on other devices in the Settings app of the phone that feature was not found on the Note 10+
Verizon Support, please provide a detailed explanation why that feature is not available on my $1,000+ Note 10+ and how I can make and receive calls on my Tab S6 via my phone like Samsung says is a feature of both devices.

Look at the Compadibility Section; my tablet and my $1,000+ Note 10+ is supposed to be compadible.

Frankly, I doubt they will give me a "real" explanation or they will drive me to use Messages+ which makes no sense; they feature in question is supposed to be a part of the phone; I should be give the option as to what app/feature I want to use.
Interesting question and hopefully a Verizon agent will respond with a good answer. Could be the Samsung hardware/software version for Verizon had certain features removed/disabled which conflicted with services offered.

Bruce27u01, we appreciate the details you've provided. The Call & text on other devices features you want to use is a Samsung branded feature that is not supported on Verizon phones or on our network.
When Samsung phones were manufactured for Verizon they were made to work with the services we provide.
We hope this information provides clarity.

Hers the clear answer: Verizon and AT&T disabled the feature to force you to use their services. Plain and simple.
If I install an unbranded ROM for my Note 10+ and use a Verizon sim, it works fine like the stock version. Until I reboot and it updates to remove it. I'm about to cancel Verizon and move to TMobile.
Funny how Apple prohibits the carrier from modifying features. Wish other remanufactures had spines like that.
Verizon has taken a lot of Samsung free pre installed features out of their phones to force people to use Verizon's stuff that you have to pay for. Just like they took the Samsung cloud option out because it gave you free storage. They took it out so that you will purchase Verizon cloud. It's all about not giving their customers anything for free. If Verizon has a version of Samsung's free pre installed stuff that they can make $ on you can bet your a** that Verizon will delete it from the phone.
I know how useful it can be to be able to receive calls when your phone is not around, Bruce27u01. I would love to help as much as I can. I do want to clarify a few things first. Are you able to use our services on the Note 10+? AmberF_VZW
I am able to use VZW services on the Note 10+; the phone is a VZW branded phone that works on the VZW network.
we want the call and text on other devices feature from samsung turned on for verizon phones. This is not right. Unlock the features from the phone I bought.

I've been reading this entire thread and you are exactly right on everything and literally sound like me!! I had the EXACT same setup, but now I have the s20 ultra and come to find out t.. hat it got removed from the s20 ultra as well! Smdh

No one wants to use the cruddy Verizon Messaging Plus app. Plus Google messages has RCS so why would I ever use Verizon. Never have and never will, give us the features that we paid for with over $3,000 of spending on all these devices!! There is absolutely no reason to remove the feature on the phones because it should be the person's choice to use it or not. Samsung put it on there for a special reason so do not mess with their stuff because they put it on there for a specific reason for people like us that pay thousands and thousands of dollars to use the device the way it's intended to be used!!!! mess Verizon taking off features. It's garbage and not fair
I have the same problem. I bought the samsung s20 ultra $1,399.00 and the samsung tab s6 for $600.00 and verizon is preventing me from using the samsung features and forcing their app on us.

Do you have Integrated Messaging turned on and your tablet's Message+ app logged into your phone's number?

And, if you're referring to the Samsung Call and Text feature, read thru this thread to see Verizon Customer Service answer. Also , Samsung's Compatibility statement in https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00083152/
because it's a garbage app and not native.
This garbage doesn't work and why should we have to use it when it was in the phone to begin with and every other carrier offers it with the Samsung devices and a lot of other options too. What about Samsung cloud that you guys also took off the phones to force people to buy Verizon cloud. Because you don't get enough money out of us! This is total garbage and the way to lose customers. What ever happened to the customers is always right and giving customers what they paid for. These phones were advertised with these options and then we get them and you've removed all of them from the devices. I think we should get refunds for the devices we bought for not working like advertised. And Samsung advertised the h*** out of the fact that you can answer your phone and messages on your tablet and the Samsung cloud option too.
