Camera freezes

My camera freezes when I try to use the front camera, like to take a selfie. It started doing that once I noticed the Beauty Face feature. If I get anything at all, it's a message that the camera stopped and I need to restart it. Anyone know a way to fix this?

GammylsMe Having a working camera is crucial.  I would not want you to miss out on any photos. I’m here to help resolve this camera issues. Can you  tell me what make/model is your phone? Have you added any new apps? When did this start?
