Can I turn off the email coming through my bluetooth while in the car ?

I know I only want text and calls in my vehicle. We would love to help with this Bluetooth issue. Does email sync to other Bluetooth devices? Do you want emails to no longer be transferred to you via Bluetooth? What make and model vehicle are you pairing with?
