When I send a photo to one of the other Note 20 Ultra's on my plan I get this message:
Can't send File Use Wi-Fi to send or receive files larger than 10 MB
When you try to send a screen capture or another photo that is well below the max limit size it can send, a circle comes up showing the progress of the send but it will never finish and it errors out.
The iPhone 12 and the other 2 Note 20 Ultra's work just fine. My wife has this same issue when sending to 2 of the Note 20's on our plan but one of them works like normal as well as the iPhone.
Anyone else we start a text message with, add a photo, the photo is automatically made a smaller size and will send it. Another strange thing is this only happens to me once and a while, only to the one phone. My wife has it happen to 2 of the other phones only on our plan with her previous phone and with this new phone.
We have compared all of our messaging settings, they are all the stock settings, we have reset the messaging app, restarted, cleared the cache at pre-boot, updated all apps, we don't use facebook or any other type of messaging.

We understand the importance of receiving and sending files. Thank you for all the steps you completed proactively. To better assist you, please tell us a little more. When did the issue start? Were you able to send them before? Are other devices having issues while connected to the same Wi-Fi source?

Same issue here, 3 phones, all on the same family plan.
S21 is having the issue.
S21 --> Note10+ = success
S21 --> S21 Ultra = failure
Note10+ --> S21 Ultra = success

This is absolutely rediculous when customers pay for an UNLIMITED Data plan. You can't be serious to believe that 10MB is your restriction. I've had nothing but issues since the date my wife and I switched to your service, and this takes the cake. After several months of fighting with your customer service reps to get our initial purchase set up correctly on YOUR advertised plan, we now find out that our UNLIMITED plan won't go over 10MB for a video? Are you Kidding me?!
This is the primary reason ever single person who comes to you leaves. Your customer service is atrocious, you limit UNLIMITED data plans on 10MB which in the larger picture is squat, and you cost more than your competitors. As far as I am concerned, my wife and my plan are done with your service and incompetence.
Oldest towers in the networks, yes, worst customer service and schemes that trick buyers into paying a fortune, very much a reality. Forget Verizon, you all would be better taking your business elsewhere where you aren't ripped off by "want to be" technicians that know nothing about the field they work in.
10MB requiring a wifi when customers pay for UNLIMITED data. You have some nerve Verizon.

I have the same problem but only with sending to another phone on my plan. It started recently but I can't recall when exactly. I do think it was after an update release a month or 2 ago

Same issue but only with phones on my plan. Both phones are Samsung S21. I can send to other people but if I try to send it to my fiancee it gives me that message and it won't send.

Hello and thanks for the details, Manda521. We want to make sure that you can send files without any error messages. First, what text message platform are you currently using? The one that came with the device, Verizon Messages, or a 3rd party text app?

I have the same issue between two S21 phones on the same plan using the built-in messaging app that came with the phones. We do not have a problem sending to a S7 also on the same plan.

Being able to keep connected is crucial. We want to make sure you can send everything you need. What happens when you try to send those? Do you get any error message?

I started having this problem when I switched from Galaxy 9plus to Galaxy s21. I am currently not connected to wifi, and have unlimited data plans so the transfer of the image should not be hindered by size. It seems that MMS is not working, and there is no option I can find in settings to verify this is turned on. If this a feature of the Verizon plan, you guys have messed up me over with updating my device and made some change to data limits in the background. If this is a device issue then I will return it to you.
