Can't setup Gmail account to sync

Verizon Samsung Fascinate.

Phone got stuck in Recovery after update last week. VZ sent new phone.

 

ON setup I can't add my Gmail account to sync .'It says login / password don't match.

I have changed password.

I can log in from Phone Browser and on my Computer.

I have done Soft and Hard reset.. 
I can set phone up on another gmail account..

The main account has all my data and is my main email address...

 

I have been to level 2 Verizon and level 3 Samsung.
I even went into a Verizon store today and let the Tec try it...
Any Ideas ???

Hello jerryay,

 

Thank you for providing all the information on the issue that you are having. This is help ensure that we don't duplicate any troubleshooting steps. I have a tool that I think will help us in the setup process. The name of this tool is called Captcha. It unlocks Gmail accounts so they can be properly setup on mobile devices. Here's a link to the tool.

Once you have followed the steps to unlock your Gmail account then retry on your device and let me know the results.

Thanks, I have tried that..

I can Log in from PC and Browser on phone 

I can change password on PC or Browser...

 

I tried setting up accts and sync on my wifes phone.. Same thing...

 

is something different in the network ? for accts and sync ??

 

I really appreciate your help. I don't want to loose my {edited for privacy} acct

or the APPS that I have purchased.

I will try anything....

FINALLY FOUND PROBLEM

 

https://accounts.google.com/IssuedAuthSubTokens#accesscodes

 

had to set up access code there... Works GREAT NOW !!!!
