Cant send/receive mms messages or send in group chats

Started this morning. Cant send messages to an established group text. Cant send/receive picture texts. It is not just me, but at least 5 others that I am aware.
Resetting the phones did not help either.

If you're using Verizon Messages+ for your texting app, that's being shut down (it was supposed to sunset earlier this month but I heard it's now been moved to December).
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

Appreciate the thought, but we arent using Messages +, so thats not the issue.

There have been a few threads cropping up recently about people not being able to text customers using a certain competitor's service. It may be a network issue where Verizon's SMSC isn't communicating with the other guy's SMSC. Have you looked on the Check Network Status link in the "Get help from Verizon" box to the right to see if anything comes up about the towers in your area?
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

Everyone is on Verizon. When I check the service area, it says impacts from Hurricane Milton, but that was 3 weeks ago and our issue started today. We are in Florida.

Did this get resolved? Bought 2 new unlocked Samsung S25+ and one is having this issue. Close to 5 hrs with Verizon support plus a 50 mile round trip to Verizon stores and now awaiting an escalated engineer support call. Problem appears to be on their towers. Last night the support rep could not text either phone. And we already replaced the initial phone because Samsung & Verizon first said it had to be a defective phone. It wasn't. When /if resolved we have to do another 50 mile trip to return the first one to Amazon (Samsung storefront) We are frustrated and a bit angry...
