I have been a loyal customer of verizon for over 20 years, and have always paid on time. Never really had an issue, until the past couple of months, when my phone intermittently would go out of service. Basically, it would work only if I was connected to wifi. Well now, even that isn't 100%. I have gone into the verizon store numerous times to have a tech "fix" the problem, only for it not to be fixed. I have called and chatted, and done all the things. I still owe around $500 on this phone, otherwise I would have just gotten a new one. But I can not justify throwing $500 down the drain, especially when my phone was not dropped, or water damaged. It is somehow a network, or connection issue in my mind. So some please tell me why I signed a contract when I purchased this phone, and I have upheld my end of the contract by paying my bill on time every month. But verizon has NOT upheld their end of the contract by providing efficient service? As of today, I spent approximately 4-5 hrs on the chat line, jumping thru hoops, only to be told they "filed a ticket and someone will get back to me in 3-5 days". This is infuriating, as I asked for some sort of compensation and was told they would credit my bill $35. That is laughable. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, Im waiting the 3-5 days for someone to get back to me and pretend to fix my phone and still leave me hanging.
