Delayed Text Messages

I'm using Messages (had too many issues with Messages+) and lately intermittent texts are delayed - both incoming and outgoing, and a few never showed.  I have a Galaxy Note 10 and posted same issue in the Samsung community, where Samsung replied it's a carrier issue.  Has anyone found an answer, fix or work around?

Hello, Robgor. We certainly understand wanting to know what is happening with your texts and are here to help. Does this delay occur when you are in the same physical location each time?
