Bought a new Note 9 from Verizon in October but found that they offered the same device as a promotional deal during Black Friday of this year. Since this is a very expensive phone and since I have been a customer with Verizon for a long time, I thought that I could participate in this promotional deal since I chatted with them online on November 23 (before Black Friday). In chatting with 2 different employees, I was informed that I would get a call back from the Specialty Team within 24 hours of my request. No call back occurred and I tried calling them myself but couldn't get thru. So now today (Nov. 26) I chatted again online with them and I finally received a call back. They informed me that unfortunately they couldn't give me the Black Friday Deal because I needed to turn in my phone 14 days after I purchased it. Wow!! So not being told that maybe there will be a deal on it during Black Friday which would have made me wait until then before spending $1000 for the phone, I am going to think twice about staying with Verizon at this point as I feel that they really dont care about loosing a valuable and long time customer since they couldn't do anything for me on lowering the price of the Note 9. I should also add that the particular store I purchased the phone from CLOSED!!

Sounds like you purchased your phone from a third party retailer and they would also have different return policies.
Verizon Wireless does a Black Friday deal for many of their current phone and device selection every year.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

not to be rude but verizon has no responsibility to announce 2-4-1 deals in advance.
