Disable visual voicemail request

How do I disable the visual vm request?  I have repeatedly declined it, I DO NOT want it, but for the past several days it keeps popping up every time I get a voicemail.  Driving me insane.

Turned out that I couldn't turn it off myself, not listed as one of my services/features because I never ordered/accepted it.  Had to have customer service delete it from my account.

Let's make sure you have the right voice mail option to be able to easily manage it. You can log in via http://www.vzw.com/features and change Visual Voice Mail to Basic from here.

There are a couple of ways to get this done. You can log in at verizonwireless.com and make the change there. You can call 800-922-0204 and make the request. You can disable it from the device by opening the voicemail application and selecting the 3 dots at the top right. The option to unsubscribe should be there. Please give it a try.
