I was able to change the Speak Incoming Caller ID prior to the update, but now I cannot. The feature isn't even consistent anymore. It picks and chooses when it wants to say the name or the number to an already existing contact. Any suggestions, or would I have to replace my 35-day old phone?
I recommend a Factory Reset of your phone. Warning: This will erase all data from your phone, including:
- Your Google Account
- System and aplication data settings
- Downloaded Applications
Your Apps will be restored once you are able to sign back in to your Google account.
This reset will not erase: Current System software and bundled applications; SD Card files, such as music or Photos
From the main screen, touch menu tab
Touch Settings
Touch Privacy
Touch Factory Data reset
Touch Reset Phone
Touch Erase Everything
If this does not resolve the problem and allow Speaking Incoming Caller ID to perform correctly, please feel free to let us know and we'll be happy to help further.
Thanks,
