Who else has waited over 1 1/2 hrs to try and sign up and get redemption code to create a Disney+ acct/app?

Is staring at the Disney+ pinwheel of doom?

Execs at House of Mouse majorly failed making the majority of people with Verizon to sign up on the same day!

I can't get past the Redeem Your Code page: "The code is invalid or used" Many people having the problem. We can't get past the Redeem Your Code page: " Tried calling verizon and gave up after 1 hour on hold. The chat feature is useless. Has no answers on Disney+ questions

I apologize for the issues you are having banksd. We are all excited about our partnership with Disney+ and we want all of our customers to take full advantage of it. Did you have a Disney+ account previous to attempting to sign up through Verizon?

Iโ€™m having a similar problem. Disney+ recognizes me as verizon subscription but wants me to enter credit card info. Iโ€™ve never received a code from Verizon. Iโ€™m not sure if the issue is with Verizon on Disney+. Any guidance?

Please pm me a solution. I followed the steps and I get a code with a notice "code cannot be redeemed. You may have already redeemed it."

Same here. I opted for the chat solution as the phone call was going to be 20+ minutes of chat. No solution was reached via chat and I'm still waiting.

Same issue here..  never got to a place to create a Disney+ account but following Verison link to set up the account I get  ' code is invalid'.

When ypu click the link to go to disney to sign up we get a page that says the offer code is invalid.  Expire or already used

I was able to sign up earlier today without a problem and have already watched the first episode of The Mandalorian. Took no longer than about a minute to complete the signup.

Is Verizon planning to address this fiasco? Our "free" service should only start once we have successfully enrolled in Disney+ -- which, at this rate, could be in 2020.

Thursday, still unable to set up a Disney account, just stare Disney logo and the spinning circle.  The Obamacare rollout was better executed.

Friday, STILL seeing the spinning circle. Verizon blamed Disney. I am not calling Disney to complain, because (a) they will be painfully cheerful and (b) they will blame Verizon.

Are we sure this isn't some kind of psychological experiment they are doing on us? Probably not, unless the desired effect is to make us loathe both Disney and Verizon with the white-hot passion of a thousand burning suns. Getting close...

pinkerton123, we certainly want you to be able to enjoy Disney+! Please provide the steps taken to sign up for the subscription. You stated you are unable to set up the Disney account did you go through the My Verizon app or went directly to Disney?

 

brawlman, let's get you set up. Did you start the process via My Verizon or Disney+? Are you connected to Wi-Fi or network data?

 

kwanders2 & banksd when you try to redeem the code, was it sent to you via email or when you tried to verify the Disney+ account?
