Why is it that when I add my exchange email account that it requires the pin lock or password lock to be enabled, yet when you lock your phone and then unlock it the phone does not lock with the pin it just goes to the puzzle slide lock?? I want my phone to lock automatically and not take forever to lock to the pin screen, sometimes it takes up to 5 mins till the phone locks back to the pin screen. Has anybody else had any issues like mine and if so does anyone know how to fix it?? Any help would be appreciated.

Mine is the same, along with a friend of mine that has the phone. We do not use Exchange accounts, only built in mail, gmail, and Lotus Traveler, which may get treated the same as an Exchange mail system.
Rome_006, are you using a third party email service for your corporate email?
Have both of your phones been updated with the new software? And if so, did this issue happen prior to the update?

No, I am using the exchange email client that comes with the phone. Previous to the 2.2 update which i do have i had a different issue i could not unlock my phone with ease because the lock screen that would come up would ask for a 4 digit pin that i created when i entered my exchange email. The problem then was with 2.1 we did not have a pin unlock screen so the qwerty board would pop up at the luck screen. But yes then the phone would take up to a minute to lock, so now that i have 2.2 and the ability to use a pin lock screen it does not lock immediately. Now sometimes taking up to a full 2 or 3 mins, i know on my friends htc droid incredible it gives them the option to lock after 1 min 3 mins and 5 mins. On my fascinate though i do not see that option anywhere.
