My phone is on Firmware version 2.1-update1. I took it to a Verizon service center and was told all updates were complete. When I check for new updates, the phone says "No New Software Update Available". Any suggestions/thoughts?

i follow topics not people.. and not really a verizon fanboy, just not clueless on how something as basic as a cellphone policy works

got the same option from customer service,
Option 1 : Live with it until it's eligible for upgrade in December.
Option 2 : Buy a new phone at full retail price.
Option 3 : Add a new line for $9.99 a month and get a phone. Put old number to new line and dummy new line out.
I am leaving verizon once my contract ends . .
