Does anyone know if the apps themselves come back after a FDR? I did see the app data is preserved in the settings. I did miss my apps coming back on the skinned Android devices before this. yay AOSP.

Paid apps will show up after a reset, but free apps will not (at least not every time I did it)

if you get to the market online before too much time elapses, you can see everything you downloaded. But that goes away after a certain period of time after the reset and you connect to the market the first time.

But either way, you have to download the apps, they do not download themselves automatically.

Compatible apps (free and paid) do load automatically sometimes, if you sign in with the same GMail account that you used when you originally obtained the app.  I haven't figured out the rhyme or reason with this, as it happens for me on some devices, but not others.
