Fantom notifications after oreo update

Samsung Galaxy s7..... After updating to oreo, I'm getting fantom /random notification sounds/alerts. When I get these notification sound/alerts, there is no notification icon on top left of my screen. They are not at steady times. Totally random. 2 min 3min 4min between them. Very upset. Please help....

hello, wanttofish1. Please go to Settings>Advanced Features, and turn off Smart Notifications. Let us know if this helps.
