If they have had a fix that truly fixes the missed calls since 6/30/2011

Why have they started replacing phones Instead of just giving the fix to our phones

Only thing I can think of is they can't fix  The missed Call Problem

I may have to agree with you.  On top of my missed calls & failed texts, now I'm getting voice mails hours after they've been left!  While I was at the store where I got the phone, was when I supposedly was called, and since I didn't answer because it didn't ring IN THE STORE THAT HAD STRONG SIGNAL, they left a voice mail at around 5:23pm.  I got the voice mail at around 9:23pm, after the business had closed for the day! 

 

I'm also getting notifications of a new e-mail when there isn't a new one.  Ack!  This is getting crazy!
