New update wont let me receive calls
I was having call problems after the update. Checked the network and the update changed the network to Global. I changed it LTE/CMDA and all is fine now.
I tried this did not work. I have noticed that usually after my phone times out the first call will not register but they hang up and try again it will. Help.
Updates are meant to improve your phone not make it worse Heigesdaniel. I know we rely on our devices to receive calls. Have you checked your setting that Glw163 suggested? What happens when someone calls you? Are you able to make phone calls? Please tell me more. AmberF_VZW
I am receiving calls, but my network also says GLOBAL now...should I set it to LTE/CDMA?
StevieD2, I am glad to hear that you are able to receive calls. To confirm, did you also apply the latest Galaxy S8 update? Since your phone is displaying Global, did you make any recent changes to your phone? Are the other functions and features of your phone working as expected? Looking forward to hearing back.
