I just switched from Sprint to Verizon and got the new Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Whenever I send text messages greater than 160 characters or if the message includes emojis, the recipient of the message only gets part of the message. The message is broken up into little chunks and some of the chunks are missing. I understand that a message greater than 160 characters or containing emojis will be broken up. My problem is that whoever I am sending the text to only receives random parts of the broken up message. I have cleared the messaging app cache and data and I have restarted my phone.
What can I do to fix this? It is frustrating having to send a screenshot of my phone that way they can read the whole message.
I am having this problem on the native Samsung messaging app as well as with the Google Android Messaging app.

the recipients phone could be the problem or if you're sending to an i-phone.

It is happening to recipients with both Samsung galaxy phones and IPhones.
