i rec'd a v/m from a gentelman telling me to stop calling him or he is going to have me arrested for harrasment, I have never called this number what is going on

Likely your number was spoofed by another entity.

It is amazing what they are doing with mobile phones and land lines today. I received a phone call on my land line from myself. When you got this voicemail  message did it give you the number from this person? I have heard of people doing this just to see if they get a response from that number. Then they were bombarded with calls from people trying to sell them something. I am getting so many calls on my cellphone from people I don't even know but at least I am able to block them. Most of them that leave a voicemail are from debtor that are calling for people that I don't know. As far as him having you arrested for harassment I believe it would be a lot harder for him to do that then it is for someone to spoof your number.
