Having an issue sending messages to iPhone users?

Is this problem resolved? I have the same issue with seemingly everyone who has an iPhone on the Verizon network. I'm a Verizon Galaxy S7 user.

No I haven't. Have been a Galaxy user for 7 or 8 years now.

messages from androids to i-phones need to be sent to the email address, not phone number.

Email address huh? How does it then end up in the iphone recipient's SMS app?

because it's an i-phone/apple product.

I don't have any problem sending messages from my S7 to my daughter's I-phone using her phone number.
