Help!
My battery cannot last the day now. Even with Advanced Task Killer, my applications are starting to open all day long every 5 minutes on their own. They never did this before the update. This includes apps like Facebook, Words with Friends, Maps, and whatever the new Media Hub.
Also this new Media Hub won't let me in to try to turn off any settings because it wants me to update. What is it? Can I get rid of it?
Ditch ATK and you should be fine. Those apps aren't doing anything for the most part unless you have them syncing which can be adjusted in the app specific settings. You'll just kill your battery like you're doing now if you try to keep them closed.

I agree with PJNC284, and get rid of the task killer. I found that it was somewhat useless because like he said, they will just start back up, and that takes resources and power to do. The biggest thing is the apps that sync, you need to make sure they are adjusted to suit your needs. Fast / more often the sync results in less battery life.
