Hey google only vibrates

I have a Samsung S9+, and after a recent update, when you say "hey google" or "ok google", it no longer beeps or repeats the voice.  I used to use this to find my phone and I can only ask something like "what time is it" to get it to say something.  How do I turn this back on to beep or for google assistant to speak again???

jacobweber2000, to help enable the voice for your phone when using Google Voice, you can use these steps to turn it on: 

Turn on voice search

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google app .
2. At the bottom right, tap More Settings. Voice.
3. Under "Hey Google," tap Voice Match.
4. Turn on Hey Google.
