I cannot add hotspot to my unlimited plan. I've tried:
1. Not listed under Features. It's simply not in the list. Tried both the MyVerizon app and website. I see a list of Features, but Hotspot is not listed.
2. Called support: told it has to be done from the app. See above. Told it can be done through phone automated system, I hear a list of features, but hotspot is not one of them.
3. Tried chat support: they tell me to call. See above.
4. Tried turning on hotspot on my phone, it tells me I'm not subscribed and to call. See above.
I have the $70 unlimited plan. Someone please tell me what's wrong. If I can't get this working, I will have to change carriers. Thank you.

There is no add a hotspot option. You upgrade to the next tier of plan that has it like Play More etc.

Well, that's not what their help sections say. That's not what the Chat support person said. That's not what the phone support person said. I don't mean to be disparaging, but that is simply incorrect according to the plan details.
Here's a snippet directly from the website:

Prepaid is another story. With postpaid it's "Start Unlimited" which doesn't have a hotspot and you change plan. I don't deal with prepaid for their lack of support.
You posted in a Samsung section so that gave no indicator you had prepaid.

I always suspected they held a prejudice against Prepaid people. Confirmed! If they're not ripping you off with their contracts they don't want to help you. Disgusting. Well I'll try upgrading and see what happens. When did Verizon support get so terrible? So disappointing.
